And yet , you allow it to happen to your own batteries: your own mental and physical resources.


Your batteries are depleted every time you "push through" to deal with stress or with that infamous feeling of overwhelm that comes with juggling multiple roles.


Your batteries drain even more when you do everything to suppress your desires for something else, for change, or simply for peace and rest.

Not in an emergency because your body and nerves are so exhausted that they no longer leave you a choice.

You actually need to act way, way before that even happens. Because it's so much harder to recover if you do get to that point of exhaustion.
